Do You Peplum?

A few years back, as I was getting ready for the best concert of my life (I am a SUPER fan of Reik!), I decided on what to wear after I had done my hair and makeup...yes, I often do that. While I only changed a couple of times, I ended up wearing a bebe corset top (seen here) and a high-waisted black peplum skirt (similar to this skirt). At that time, I had not seen very many girls sport this style, I felt girly and may I add...I had the BEST time ever at that concert!

Fast forward to present time, I have seen this style re-emerge in tops. They are incredibly flattering and they give the illusion of a smaller waist.
