As seen on my wish list post last year...high-waisted trousers have got to be my favorite piece of clothing I own. In fact, they are a must, a basic, a you-gotta-have-it-in-your-closet piece for me. As much as I love anything high-waisted, I don't necessarily have an easy time finding items that fit me perfectly. Most of the time, when the waist fits perfectly, the hip area is one millimeter from ripping wide open, those hips definitely do not lie! When it fits perfectly from the hips, the waist needs to be taken in a few inches or more. That is why when I find something that fits like a glove...I take it and GO! (Paying for it first, of course.)
Yes, Kim Kardashian...again! Sorry, I can't help that she has a great stylist (Monica Rose) and that high-waisted trousers look flawless on her. These looks are something I often like to wear. Conservative yet still stylish and perfect for work. Needless to say, I cannot wait to pair my trousers with the Mary Janes I purchased!
As much as I would love to have a few Alice + Olivia High-Waist Wide Leg Pants, the frugal fashionista in me says, "Please contain yourself, Veronica!"
I will settle with a less expensive and perfectly fitted Kardashian Kollection Women's Wide Leg Pants in red.
Other amazing options:
Ann Taylor- Stretch Twill High Waist Wide Leg Trousers, $88
ASOS Petite- Hi-Waist Extreme Palazzo Pants, $25.07
Newport News- High Waist Wide-Leg Pants, $44
BB Dakota- Hadley High Waisted Trousers, $27
Adam- Sailor Pants, $90 <-- These are major!

I don't think I could pull these off. I have a long torso, but surprisingly high waisted skirts look great on me.
